It's not hugely impressive, but even surviving just one more attack can be worth it. Since my dd brought me back to 125.it meant that I had healed past 151 health. Pots do 30 damage normally and a whopping 150 damage on heightened security. I did my best to avoid his attacks and bring his health down for a bit, but he broke another pot. I was using acorn so I breezed through until the second phase before losing it's effects.where Hades hit me with his green skull that activates his boiling blood and then he spun attacked me and broke a pot.I had heightened security on. Anyway, I remember one run in particular, I came in with only 1 dd and at full health of like 250. No Patroclus in your run, fighting Asterius EM3 miniboss, maybe an approval process screwing you over.etc. It could be a combination like benefits package 2 enemies summoned from a trial of the gods where both gods have awful trials. Typically, you'll have more than enough dds to deal with Hades, but sometimes you just get unlucky. I was really lucky I was using a shield and didn't have tight deadline on though.įor when it helped with a dd run.well there have been a few runs it's been helpful. At low health, I backed off again.and repeat. Got a ton of my health back playing safe like this and once I was near full I started being more aggressive. So I turtled since Beowulf is still a shield. ![]() Well for the 18 heat Beowulf sd run, I had a run that just wasn't pumping out enough damage, so when I got to Hades and he promptly blasted off my sd I was left with a pitiful amount of health. That being said, should I consistently do 30+ heat runs then I'd probably care more about survival than big number damage and might thus be more welcoming to Athena boons. You also rarely get to zero DD so you never really benefit from the small regen Deadly Reversal diluting my chance at getting Artemis Fully Loaded, Hunting Blades, Mirage Shot or Unshakable Mettle diluting my chance at getting Poseidon Mirage Shot etc.) On the topic of Stubborn Roots, well, it's just no damage so it's not what I'm looking for. Divine dash is also a precursor to duo boons that dilute the boon pool of other gods (eg. In particular, i turn away divine dash for the more offensive dashes (or dashes that are precursors to/requirements for desired offensive boons). Which means I prefer to invest more into dps than survival turning away defensive boons of athena for more offensive boons from other gods. Personally after having become more adept at dodging, timing and positioning, I no longer worry about health that much. Blizzard Shot I go back and forth on but can be effective sometimes. ![]() The bad ones are really bad or unplayable: Freezing Vortex, Cold Embrace (not even once), Stubborn Roots. The good ones are amazing: Cold Fusion, Crystal Clarity, and Ice Wine (my personal favorite boon that I can explain further if anyone wants). I go for it often because it's really sweet (especially when it takes out bosses) but I'm not sure how actually good it is. ![]() ![]() Winter Harvest I'm curious to hear people's thoughts on. It's wonderful in Elysium against the Souls because you can hit kill them with a few Snow Bursts as you load up your bow and then unleash the full attack on actual enemies. Snow Burst is incredible for cast builds, especially Hera which has a harder time clearing out small annoying enemies. Her damage boosts are pretty high and Chill is great against bosses because the slow effect makes them easier to manage.
